The winners of the British Physics Challenge held on March 15, 2020 announced that nearly 2,000 students from more than 270 international schools and key middle schools across the country participated in the competition and achieved very good results. Yan Lirao from Class G10 B of our school won great achievements in the competition and won a silver award.
英國物理挑戰賽(GCSE & AS年級)是由英國物理奧賽組委會主辦。英國物理奧賽組委會主要由牛津大學、英國物理學會和 Odgen 基金會組成，辦公室設在牛津大學物理系。
I was very pleased when I learned that I won the silver medal directly in the physics competitions around the world. Because this is not only an affirmation of my previous hard work, but also an incentive to study hard. At the same time, I would also like to thank the teacher for accompanying me on my way of learning and teaching me. I hope that in the days to come, we can all forget our original intentions and continue to work hard to create a better future for ourselves.
Learning is a process of continuous accumulation and a process of continuous exploration, continuous surpassing oneself and continuous growth. Each student is an independent individual, and each student has his own nature, preferences and strengths. All our teachers need to do is to discover the strengths of students, inspire them, and encourage and help them become the best themselves. In this special winter vacation, our children did not abandon the exploration of knowledge because of the epidemic situation, did not lower the requirements for self because of the epidemic situation, and did not relax the tapping of their potential. Without delaying online learning and homework, they squeeze time to seize every time gap, wandering in the ocean of knowledge as much as possible, thinking hard, exploring, and refreshing their self-knowledge again and again , Knowledge of knowledge, knowledge of the world. Although they are still some distance away from success, they are already in the direction of success, doing careful calculations for success, and stepping forward step by step. From quantitative change to qualitative change, every success is a transformation of them. We prayed that they would break into cocoons and become butterflies.
The school congratulates the award-winning Yan Lirao, the competition instructor Wei Guoru and the physics teaching and research team!
